Pros: Fancy office.
Good benefits and perks (free admissions to many museums in NYC).
Cons: Work is too deadline-driven, and as a result, quality suffers. There is no clear career path; you could work in the same position forever. Senior management are mostly long-time employees who are old-fashioned and don't believe in new methodologies. In order to become a team lead or manager, you have to conform to their style.

Pros: Great health insurance, benefits matching, pay, and location. The work culture is very understanding.
Cons: Given the Bloomberg terminal is the main product and is so old, much of the development is centered around it, which means bad UI, etc. But other than that, it has a great tech stack.
Also, job progression is ambiguous due to a lack of titled positions for promotions.
