I sailed through the two phone screens, which were harder than the in-person interviews. I was let go after the second round in-person. There was no courtesy of feedback; I received an automated response saying I am not being considered for the position.
The reason I am writing is that I thought I excelled in the in-person interviews, answering all questions to the fullest, demonstrating my thinking process, and considering all edge cases while reaching the answers. Perhaps I was not a match for the position, or vice-versa, but they need to at least have the courtesy of constructive feedback, considering the time and effort we put in.
Note for future candidates: If a position requires C++ and you are a Java person, DO NOT APPLY! They do not understand Java APIs, and answering questions in Java backfires.
Have you worked on C++?
