Process
Lots of tedious online tests before even getting to a phone interview, which was itself another interactive computer test. It seemed like a lot of trouble considering the job.
I find it kind of funny that companies like Bloomberg (& Google & M$ et al) go so crazy for difficult interviews for what are basically run-of-the-mill IT jobs.

Pros: health benefits, wageworks, life insurance
Cons: Force people to come to the office. Very stingy on work from home. Lots of politics because of managers who have been in their roles for many years. Rotten culture. They show that they are keen on changing, but they do not change their managers, and hence company culture does not change. Use old, outdated technologies.

Pros: Lots of technology projects.
Plenty of perks inside and outside the office (some people don't take enough advantage of these).
Decent hiring process.
Good mentorship for junior hires (college recruiting is very well done).
Cons: Deadline-oriented development.
Explicit tracking of hours in the office and hours "billed" to various departments (most developers aren't used to billing time like lawyers).
Virtually impossible to get rid of poor performers (usual fear of lawsuits).
