There's way too much bureaucracy. It takes a long time to get simple things accomplished, and the organizational structure itself promotes micromanagement. Boeing is basically "government junior," and pay and benefits follow a very socialistic philosophy. If you are a results-driven individual and expect compensation for your merits, you don't want to work here. Some folks will literally not work and still get paid just about as well as you would busting your butt every day.
Learn how to focus on merit rewards, and give incentive to those employees who break their back for you instead of picking favorites and focusing on special interest groups. Politically correct culture is destroying the company from within, and I don't see Boeing lasting another ten years without government bailouts.
