Initial phone interview.
After a Skype interview was scheduled, it was canceled 10 minutes before the interview via email with a note stating, “The position is no longer available.”
After I checked their website, I found three to four identical open positions. However, their recruiter told me I had to apply again.
Horrible ethics.

Very flexible with work from home/remote.
Cons: - Feels difficult to move up in the company.
- Methodologies behind change procedures are outdated and inefficient.
- Not a super high-growth tech company.

Pros: Great compensation, flexible work schedule, exciting projects, and bright, cooperative engineers.
Cons: Over the last few years, Box has successfully brought in some very strong people with vast technical/leadership experience. These individuals were a head above existing middle managers. Respect for leadership dwindled, and upper management reacted by promoting the managers who had lost the backing of their more senior reports up the corporate ladder, away from dealing with actual projects and developers, where they were doing even more damage.
