Tl;dr: Feedback look was very slow after each round, and they did not give me feedback for rejection. (This was while I already had two offers from similar-scale companies and I got a positive impression from each interviewer on my panel).
I was reached out by a recruiter from Brex. I was first set up with a 1-hour hiring manager interview. The interview felt a lot like them reading through a list of questions and writing down my answers. It was not a dialogue or a two-way conversation. They were also not trying to sell the job to me at all. This was the first yellow flag for me.
My second yellow flag was not hearing back from the company after this round. When I reached out after a week, the recruiter cold-called me, saying they were just going over my interview and that they'd like to proceed to the next round.
My third yellow flag was when they introduced me to another recruiter who would explain the virtual onsite interview process. They asked me to book a 30-minute call with him. He emailed me 10 minutes before the call, saying he couldn't make it, and we pushed the interview to some time later. He called me 20 minutes late on the rescheduled time and started asking me all the questions that I had already answered in the screening round. I did not find this phone call very useful.
The virtual onsite interviews were interesting and challenging, and I got some impression about how the company works. Based on these impressions, I was almost sure I didn't want to work there (work-life balance issues, plenty of re-orgs, and product managers micro-controlling project timelines).
A week after the onsite, I got an email saying that I was rejected. The red flag was that they did not give any feedback, insight, or reason as to why I was rejected. I inquired about this from the recruiter, and they did not reply to my email.
