Stock/pay is okay; VMware benefits were better.
Does not care about employees, especially lower levels.
I interviewed two years ago with VMware for a SWE role. The interviews were well-defined and clear, testing knowledge of system design, data structures, algorithms, and web development topics. There were four rounds and one initial recruiter screen
I applied online. It took them about 3 weeks to get a response. The interview process was okay. There were 4 rounds of interviews of medium difficulty. Thankfully, there were no puzzles and the interview was low pressure.
The interview is full of JavaScript concepts like hoisting examples, patterns for `put` and `bind` methods, and some syntax checking questions. Once done, they are going to check your project experience. Thank you.
