Lean organizational culture at Broadcom
I don't see anything bad.
Everybody was very professional. Questions were to the point, with no trick questions (almost). I was very pleased with the process. There was one trick question, but this was no big deal.
Asked basic questions: 1. Modulation techniques 2. Design of basic communication systems 3. Convolutional codes 4. Turbo codes 5. AWGN model 6. Near-far effect 7. Bandwidth of QPSK and BPSK, and which one is larger.
The interview process was very casual. I was asked simple behavioral and technical questions regarding the position. There was a phone interview with the team, followed by an onsite interview with the hiring manager, who also asked simple questions.
