Cons: The product is very non-committal to what we should build. Legacy codebase.

Pros: Good mission and work/life balance. Excellent culture.

Cons: Some recent reorganization and strategy changes.

Pros: Calm does a very good job of enacting its mission of "Making the world happier and healthier." This is reflected internally by implementing multiple mental health days off per year, monthly Zoom-free workdays, an open time-off policy (that is encouraged), and even a mental health week off for the whole company. Working toward something that brings a bit of good into the world and has a positive effect on people is also a huge motivator.

Cons: Calm is growing quickly (but responsibly). It can be hard for new, remote employees to feel connected to the company as a whole. This problem is not unique to Calm.
