The First Round -- HR Interview
This was not a good experience.
HR did not ask me about any work experience with data pipelines, such as ETL or ELT.
The job description highlighted points about event-based experience and developing experience for dashboards, but HR did not discuss these.
HR only cared if I could write SQL.
It was very interesting that HR did not really look through my work experience with data engineering but just said I sounded like a software developer, not a data engineer. REALLY?!
I failed because I don't have enough knowledge about data warehouse experience. That is something I need to improve, but it is very confusing because Canva provides both roles for data warehouse engineers and data engineers. If they have the same requirements, why not provide just one role and name it as a warehouse engineer?
