My interaction with one of the recruiters was disappointing. When I mentioned I use VS Code as my code editor, the HR person smirked, which felt condescending.
Later, they asked, “Do you even have a job now?” — an unnecessarily rude and unprofessional question.
The experience gave the impression that not all members of the HR team uphold the respectful and inclusive culture Canva is known for.
