Dotnet Developer Interview Experience - India

Process

I received an email from the company's HR department stating I was selected for the interview process for a .NET web development role. The opening was mentioned as .NET (WCF/WPF/MVC). I had never worked on MVC, but since it was listed as optional and HR had "selected" my profile, I attended the interview.

After waiting for approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes, HR announced that anyone who had not worked on MVC should leave, as MVC was mandatory for the position. I, along with many other candidates, left the premises.

Later that day, I emailed the HR representative who had initially contacted me, as well as another HR contact, seeking an explanation for the following:

  • Not clearly stating the proper requirements in the job description.
  • Selecting my profile despite my lack of MVC experience.
  • Inaccurately selecting candidates for the role.

It has been five days, and I have not received any response.
