The first interview was over the phone with HR, who asked me general information about my experiences and studies.
Subsequently, a technical interview was scheduled, conducted via Teams.
The technical interview was not aimed at the position for which I had applied (the interviewer didn't even know what it was).
The phase where I explained my experiences and programming languages used in previous years of work was not considered; I received no questions about past jobs.
At the end of the interview, the technician told me that his job was to draw up a report on what I knew and that HR would then find a suitable position for me.
After 40 minutes of questions, at the end, he said goodbye to me, telling me he hoped to see me again soon at Capgemini.
I was not told anything about the role I would have to hold in the company, nor did I receive even a vague idea about the compensation they could offer.
I received no response regarding the outcome. After 10 days, I sent an email to the HR who had initially contacted me. On the 17th day, after further reminders, they told me that they had chosen another person for the position they were managing (fortunately, it wasn't an interview for a specific position, according to them).
All in all, during the interview there were only 2 small interruptions due to the interviewer's children and his cat jumping around.
