Cons: The company doesn't invest in classroom training for freshers, mostly. The reason is that it provides classroom training to freshers hired from colleges, but for off-campus hires, there is no training. Generally, every big company gives training to freshers when they are hired. The company is full of technical support projects where the technical learning scope is very limited, and the work culture is hectic. NO/YES for relocation charge: This company rarely provides relocation reimbursement if an employee comes to the bench and is asked to relocate to another company location. For freshers, either off-campus or campus-hired, there is no relocation reimbursement system at Capgemini. There is a fresher promotion policy that is fixed for the first 3 years (B.Sc, BCA) graduates and 2 years for engineering personnel. The hike is constant irrespective of performance. For experienced people, the annual hike is 3-4% based on performance. There is no separate benefit (monetary) apart from the package defined in the offer.

Pros: The working environment is great. The people are friendly and approachable.

Cons: I am a fresher from a non-IT background. My batch was given a month of JAVA, SQL, & HTML training, and then we were required to give a test. Only on passing this test is one eligible for projects. Now, first of all, learning all that in a month is not an easy task, especially coming from a non-IT background. But somehow, if you do manage to learn everything, you still won't be able to pass the test. Even people with degrees in CSE and IT are struggling to pass the test. This is because the questions in the test are way more tough and complicated than what is taught in the training. Also, the pay for the first six months is really low, especially in cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, etc.
