I got hired through campus. It was a different kind of campus placement as Capgemini had partnered with NIIT. Capgemini came on campus in January 2014, looking to hire May 2013 graduates. All those who had not secured a placement from the usual campus placement had a second chance.
First Round:
Aptitude Test: I must admit, this was insanely tough. The math questions were really hard. There were a total of 50 questions. There was no negative marking. The cutoff was not disclosed.
Second Round:
Group Discussion: Basically, an HR was moderating the group discussion. We were given a topic and had to take sides. It was pretty straightforward. Candidates who struggled with English did not make it through.
Third Round:
Hiring Manager:
This was conducted at the Capgemini office in Vikhroli. The HR manager asked some basic questions, such as 'Tell me about yourself' and 'Tell me about your project.' He asked me to write a couple of SQL queries. The interview lasted about 20 minutes.
That was that. I was selected.
