Finally, I got into a session with HR about compensation.

Pros: 1. First and foremost: Work-life balance. It is at least a priority for me, which is best at Capgemini.
2. Great company for women employees.
3. Good number of projects.
4. Job security if you are a good performer; the company doesn't let employees go easily.
5. Can see a good retention policy from the past year.
6. Best colleagues who are there to support you.
Cons: 1. Salary Hike - Cannot compare with product-based companies. However, service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture are all in the same boat with a 2% difference.
2. Less onsite opportunity compared to 4 years ago. However, opportunities still exist with Europe and APAC.

Pros: Wide variety of projects and accounts.
Onshore assignments are available.
Many training options to up-skill.
Flexible work options like remote working and location preference.
Cons: Discrimination based on region and religion; low pay hikes and bonus distribution; difficulty in moving from one account to another. People have formed an inner circle of known individuals who hold key positions. These individuals are responsible for hiring and recruitment clearance, staff movement, training budget allocation, promotions, etc.
