Life at Capgemini is good. Everyone is familiar, which is similar to every IT company. If you work, you'll feel good; if you don't, no one is there to feed you.
You'll get recognized for your work, and you'll get appreciation properly. Projects are good here, but most are support projects.
You'll get recognized for your work, and you'll get appreciation properly, but they don't pay you for it. They just send an email, everyone congratulates you, and that's it. They don't give you a hike nor any extra amount for the same. Even one precious award came up with an appreciation amount of 1000 rs. In the appraisal cycle, they don't consider your contributions for the whole year. They do their calculations at the end and decide your hike. These people abide by policies, but only for their profit. I have lost more than 22K because higher-ups didn't take their work seriously, and when we get to them, they come up with policies. Also, when there was an issue with my leaves and I was about to get one extra leave, they took approvals from very high authorities just to get that one leave debited from my account, breaching the policies. They create policies for their own purposes.
The interview was good and conducted on time. The interviewer answered my queries politely. The questions were asked on core aeronautical topics. The interview lasted around thirty to forty minutes. That was a nice session.
The interviewer started with "Tell me something about yourself." In between, there were some technical questions, and the interview ended with questions related to experience. Overall, the interview experience was awesome.
The interviewer was nice and easygoing. They asked about my preferred coding language and then posed questions related to it. My resume was also discussed briefly, including the projects mentioned.
