Pros
  1. Training provided for name's sake. No projects to work on the trained technology.
  2. Short-term onsites.
  3. Stability and brand name.
Cons
  1. Psycho & sadist managers who treat subordinates like crab.
  2. Growth & opportunities only for female employees who co-operate well with the manager's desires.
  3. No onsite opportunities.
  4. Whatever you work, only a 2% hike.
  5. Variable pay is paid yearly once. If you leave the company in between, you should forget that.
  6. Very bad canteen food (corrupt admin).
  7. Toilets are not clean.
  8. 9.5 hrs / daily.
  9. Poor management. In most projects, you will see more people managers & less developers.
  10. Growth depends on your region, ethnic groupism & networking. Most projects are from Mumbai & Mumbai-based people will grow fastly.
  11. Technically zero managers who give impossible deadlines & screw your entire weekends & night's sleep.
  12. If you go to the bench, getting projects will take at least 3 months. You will feel insecure. RMG will put you in any crap project without your knowledge.
  13. Treat Indian employees literally as slaves.
  14. In annual day celebrations, you need to literally fight for food.
Advice to Management
  1. Take feedback from employees & fire all unwanted managers who do nothing but office politics.

  2. Instead of giving good hikes to laterals, give good appraisals to existing employees as per market standards.

  3. Appraise employees based on talent, not on other factors like boot polishing, region, or ethnicity.

  4. Remove the 9.5-hour work policy.

  5. Improve canteen food.

  6. Retain talented employees.

  7. Capgemini has a higher brand value. Live up to its brand name.

  8. Bring back all employee benefit policies.

  9. Make sure that all employees and their family members get food during Annual Day celebrations. Otherwise, please cancel the function or avoid providing dinner.
