Pros
  • Focus on new technology, automation, DevOps, and up-to-date testing practices.
  • The testing business unit has many talented people who are easy to approach and collaborate with.
  • Testing communities facilitate a lot of knowledge sharing and provide advice to employees on different projects, as well as starting many interesting innovation initiatives.
  • Capgemini as a whole focuses on mental health, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion, with many initiatives you can get involved in.
  • Senior management are approachable and down-to-earth.
  • There are good options for career progression and more transparency on how to achieve an above-average performance review rating than at other places I have worked.
  • The company seems focused on nurturing junior talent (graduates and apprentices) who appear to be high performers.
Cons
  • It is a consultancy, so be prepared to be flexible regarding travel.
  • Working on client sites can make you feel removed from the main Capgemini culture.
Advice to Management

More social events within the business unit would be welcome, especially for those who are based outside of the Capgemini offices.
