Process
Initially, HR called and explained in detail about the position. This was followed by a normal conversation about your skills.
This was followed by a coding challenge (online).
If you clear the coding challenge, you will be selected for the next round. For me, it was a video conference through FaceTime for over 2 hours.
It was a 3-round interview:
- 1st round: Behavioral round by the Hiring Manager
- 2nd round: Same by the Product Owner
- 3rd round: Technical round
I was confirmed the following day about my offer by HR.
Overall experience: Very smooth.

Pros: Excellent work/life balance.
Ability to work from home frequently.
Opportunities to travel if you want.
Good salary and benefits for the Richmond area.
Cons: Digital team leadership is lacking in people skills. Projects do not follow standard software development practices, resulting in last-minute "dashes" that can go on for months. I don't think half of the people in charge have ever shipped an app before, and it shows.

Pros: Brand name: Onsite Be-Well Center
Cons: There is a recent review describing nepotism, and I fully agree with that. It's so prominent and constantly demotivates people who are deprived of recognition just because of it. Even though there is a term of 360 feedback, it's just on paper. In reality, neither HR nor management bother about the actual performance or real feedback from team and peers but completely rely on the statements of the supervisor. The system lacks transparency, and if a supervisor is not honest, the only option is to move on instead of dealing with frustration.
