Master Software Engineer Interview Experience - New York, New York
Process
The process began with a half-hour HR interview, followed by a HackerRank assessment. Candidates were given 8 hours to complete the 3 coding challenges, though it should not take more than 2 hours. This was succeeded by a 4-hour marathon interview, which included:
- A case study (business and technical)
- A coding interview in Codepad
- A design interview
- A behavioral interview
I passed the interview but declined the offer. The company offered a Principal Software Engineer role, which was not the Master Software Engineer role I was seeking.
