I applied online. The process took 3 months.
I completed my technical interviews in September and was told I had passed. I then had a team-matching conversation with a manager. After that, I didn’t hear anything for weeks. I waited almost two months after the team-matching round with no proactive communication. I was repeatedly told that everything was fine but still awaiting senior leadership approval when I followed up on it.
Despite consistently positive signals, I was finally informed in December that senior leadership did not approve the hire. I’ve since read many similar experiences on Glassdoor. I wish I had seen them earlier and avoided wasting so much time. While I understand that internal approvals can be complicated, a clearer timeline and more consistent communication would have made the process far more transparent and respectful of candidates’ time.
