Amazon Execs, Intense Coworker Competition
Software Engineer • Current Employee
New York, New York, United States
September 6, 2023
Pros: A bunch of Amazon executives have recently joined C1.
Cons: You are constantly competing against your coworkers every 6 months. That's not a healthy environment to work in.
The same performance might get you a strong review one year and fired the next. The caveat is that you don't know how well you're performing until you're compared to moving targets.
