The process began with a recruiter contacting me on LinkedIn.

We had a 30-minute discussion.

This was followed by an online test, which I cleared. Subsequently, an interview with the hiring manager was scheduled.

I dialed in, and the hiring manager joined a little late. He provided an overview of the position and other details. The second interviewer joined 20 minutes late and was a passive participant for the first 15-20 minutes before commencing the technical interview.

The second interviewer's questions were unclear, and I had to repeatedly ask him for clarification. He seemed to be looking for textbook answers, while I provided responses based on the job requirements.

The hiring manager then inquired about my skills and asked me to rate myself on each.

After this, there was no further response from anyone. I checked with the recruiter, who stated he would check with the hiring manager. I followed up twice more with the recruiter, but received no response to my emails.

I suspect this is the end of the process. I had hoped for better communication from the recruiter. While candidates are expected to respond promptly to emails during the interview process, it is questionable how fair it is if recruiters do not uphold their responsibilities.

This experience does not advertise a good company culture to prospective candidates.
