Bosses who like to micromanage. Management talks down to employees and is very condescending. Leadership's goal seems to be focused on personal development. They are more focused on what will get them a promotion than on the development of those that report to them.
Unprofessional practices: A Sr. Director played a prank on all managers below him, claiming there were associates complaining about management. While all the managers started to panic, the Sr. Director said that they should all cancel their Christmas vacation to deal with this situation. Eventually, he revealed that it was all a joke, but the damage had been done, as managers spoke out about what they perceived could be the problem. Those not in the know that it was a joke were clearly stressed and anxious and did not find it funny.
Have an external company evaluate proper work behavior. A group of high-level management shields each other, and the condescension and negative attitude go unchecked.
Leadership is of like mind-set, so a large part of this group is creating a terrible work environment without any consequence.
I have heard other towers/divisions don't have this issue, so it might be isolated to specific divisions and not the whole company.
