Pros

Cons

Pay is not competitive; you will be paid below the average.

Performance review systems don't encourage personal growth, just pumping out features to get above others at your level. You need to game the system and be political to try and get any sort of bonus or even increase in salary.

A lot of teams aren't given real development work. Instead, they are delegated to a more support role, fixing vulnerabilities for other teams instead of building software.

Upper management rarely listens to feedback and concerns of engineers.

Little room for growth.

Huge turnover rate at all levels, from executives to engineers.

Advice to Management

Listen to your engineers on what is going wrong and stop the crazy politics game. Reward good engineers, or you will keep bleeding employees.
