Benefits, AWS cloud, money to spend, a stellar education in how to be devious.

Cons

Rank and yank creates a culture of unhealthy competition. It reduces productivity and generates "shiny turd" results.

Improper motivations.

Workers are in survival mode, very fearful. Blowhards and babblers everywhere, showing off. An unreal level of politics.

Advice to Management

First, HR and execs are on different pages about how to execute performance management, and they do not know it.

Second, your people leaders spend 80% of their time making decks or papers for you and Rob. It’s okay to communicate value, but not if you spend all our time doing only that.
