Process
I was approached by one of their internal HR representatives via LinkedIn. After the initial chat, I was booked for a meeting with one of their teams to learn more about their products. However, it turned out to be a technical interview, which was fine. Then, I was given a technical test to complete within a week. I completed and submitted it on the last day. Two days later, I emailed HR asking for progress, and they replied that my test hadn't been looked at yet. I waited for another four days and chased again for updates, but received no response. I then messaged the HR representative on LinkedIn, again with no response. I have been completely ignored.
It is totally unprofessional and unfair to ignore a candidate who spent hard work doing the test. I would expect at least some feedback about the test.

Overtime is more the rule than the exception, leading to a sustained high level of stress and a poor work-life balance. There is a notable failure on the part of management to acknowledge or address the mental health concerns raised by employees. The relentless pressure and lack of consideration for employees’ mental resilience contribute significantly to burnout. As you hear it, meaning you are interested or you got an offer from Checkout.com, my advice for you is to find another opportunity, even with less salary. You will waste your time doing CRUD work with no creativity under unprofessional leaders. I regret every moment I spent in this company.
