The process took two months.
I applied via Glassdoor. A few days later, an HR person contacted me via email and scheduled a meeting. The first meeting was with an HR person, and we reviewed my CV, experiences, expertise, and salary expectations.
Then, a second call was arranged. This call was with a Team Leader who asked many technical questions, some of which were tricky. They focused on performance and scalability questions, which was really nice because of my background. The Team Leader reviewed my profile and asked questions about what I had mentioned on my CV.
After the call, I received an email with a technical test. It was well-documented, and I had one week to solve it. All was good, and I completed it within the week. A few days after I delivered my test, I received a call inviting me to go to the Checkout headquarters.
This final test was really great. I chatted with HR, the Product Owner (PO), and the lead engineers. The interview took me around three hours.
How would you scale a monolith in the following scenario?
