Pros

I like my teammates and good benefits. That's about it.

Cons

If you were on the Tessera side and did not get face time with the Checkr side, you were out, most likely.

They kept a skeleton crew behind to handle a very complex and old system. Wonder how that's going.

Two companies tried to merge into one, and they failed at that.

Tessera was still very much siloed unless you were under certain individuals or on certain teams.

They even revamped the remote policy for the worse to get people to go back to the office for more face-to-face time, but you know, excuses to watch and micromanage people.

Then they had layoffs after saying how much they wanted to grow the company – 32% were gone. So that growth is artificially inflated.

Advice to Management

Don't lay people off unnecessarily. Take a pay cut from your executives and CEO pay, since this is a failure on all parts. It wasn't performance-based. This is ridiculous.
