I had a recruiter call, then a phone screen, which was supposed to lead to an onsite interview (that I didn't make it to).
Chime is known to ask easy to medium questions in phone screens. However, I was hit by an extremely difficult question for a screen call. I was asked to design a game that was very complicated in terms of its rules. The interviewer himself wasn't able to clearly explain it to me, and I was naive not to ask him to change the question. If you don't truly understand or haven't played this game before, you won't be able to comprehend or code it. It was like a complicated Chinese game. I thought it was close to Tic-Tac-Toe, but it was far from it.
Code game logic/rules - not Tic-Tac-Toe.
