The reality of work-life balance is different from how it is portrayed
Senior Software Engineer • Former Employee

Pros: It's quite impressive and earns more recognition to say I work at Cisco. Additionally, Cisco provides more opportunities to learn new things.
Cons: We typically work a minimum of 60-70 hours per week, and the work-life balance is virtually nonexistent in the company.
Throughout my career, I've never experienced a balanced work-life situation.
Every task is given a very tight deadline. When collaborating with US employees, they receive more generous timelines and relaxation time if they need to work longer hours. However, in India, we never experience such accommodations.
