Cisco TAC Engineer Interview Experience - Raleigh, North Carolina

Process

The bizarre interview process began with a recruiter email to set up an interview, followed by a technical interview with three team members from the TAC.

The panel never introduced themselves and had their cameras turned off the entire interview, which was disrespectful. When I asked questions at the end, I received indifferent yes or no responses from the TAC team, and they ended my interview early. Their reason? They claimed to have other interviews that very same Friday.

The technical portion of the interview felt more like an interrogation than an interview. One of the interviewers had no tact and informed me that I "might want to check that after this interview," even though I got the answer correct.

Everything considered, I was very unimpressed and deeply disappointed by the unprofessional behavior displayed here. It's really no wonder that TAC services have gone downhill in recent years.

I feel fortunate to not have been selected for the TAC team role by the HR Department. Good riddance!
