Pros: Cisco is a great company to start off your career or work for in general.
The work-life balance is great, and the company has a lot of flexibility.
The first couple of weeks are usually rough, but once you adapt, things become easier.
Cons: The pay could be significantly more for the HW contractor position. I feel that what I am currently getting is worse than an intern.

Pros: Great HR policies, benefits, and good pay.
Liked it before the 2007 recession days. Not any more.
Cons: No respect, no recognition, too much nasty politics and backstabbing, stereotype managers in Engineering.
Too much unstable management.
