The interview started with a HackerRank problem set, communicated over the phone. The problem set included questions about the output of closures and three basic data structure problems.
Next, I was called for a face-to-face interview. The first interviewer asked backend questions, including pretty basic queries regarding Java, how we implemented microservices, topics, and their configuration.
Then, I moved to the UI interview. Here, the interviewer behaved as if it were a quiz rather than an interview. She asked rapid-fire questions and seemed interested in finishing as soon as possible. She asked documentation-related questions, such as the difference between .on() and .live() in jQuery.
Finally, I had an architect interview. The interviewer was friendly, and we had a good conversation.
At the end, the HR mentioned he had received positive feedback about me from all interviewers and stated they would get back to me. I did not receive a reply regarding how the process concluded.
