Pros: Cisco has the money to provide engineers with equipment to do their work. So if you're an engineer, and you love to be an engineer, and you're lucky to be in the few business units that still value your work, then good for you.

Cons: Too many Cisco Business Units (BU) waste their time in useless talks leading nowhere. Friends at Cisco in other BUs report the same thing. Cisco is no longer what it used to be. These BUs are rotten with politics. Managers and directors falsify their work results to please their VPs. All they care for is to be "visible" to VPs and upper management. Care for great product quality is the least of their priority. Of course, customers are not happy. Product quality has degraded a lot.

Pros: Cisco is a great place to work. It has a very healthy work environment, technically skilled teammates, healthy competition, and great management.

Cons: No cons working here, so far.

Pros: Good benefits, ethics, and flexible timings. The company is a very responsible corporate citizen and helps employees in times of need.

Cons: - Growth not as fast as investors expect. - Personal growth within the company very slow. - Sometimes too many reorganizations within the organization shake employee morale.
