The interview experience was decent. It took 10 days to complete the interview process.

The first round was a virtual interview, followed by three more rounds at their office.

A few days later, I had a virtual round with the Director.

Round 1:

• Reverse an array in-place.
• Construct a target string using characters from an origin string.
• Construct a Linux file path from an array of strings.
• Explain the memory space of a process in Linux.
• Describe debugging experience with GDB.
• Discuss IPC questions and design a server-client scenario.

Round 2:

• Discuss synchronization questions.
• Given two dictionaries, print pairs not common in the dictionaries.
• Implement a program that tracks events from applications on a system (watchdog).
• Explain the purpose and usage of spinlocks.
• Address debugging questions.

Round 3:

• Design a firmware update service that sends updates to servers deployed at a client.

Round 4:

• Describe the biggest challenge you faced.
• An array of sorted integers has been rotated 'm' number of times. Construct the original array sequence.
• Discuss synchronization questions and lockless mechanisms.
• Explain memory management and DMA.
• Explain how fwrite() works from userspace to the device.
• If you disagree with your teammate on a task, how do you handle it?

Round 5:

• Solve a puzzle question.
• Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
• Describe a time you worked on something and failed. What did you learn?
• Explain your job role to a 5-year-old.
