Process
I was shortlisted for the interview on the basis of the Cisco off-campus hackathon held in July 2025. I then had to go through four rounds of interviews.
- 1st round: Projects and subjects like Operating Systems and Computer Networks were asked.
- 2nd round: Projects and DSA (1 DP question) were asked.
- 3rd round: Projects and managerial questions were asked.
- 4th round: This was the ETR (HR) round, where job location preferences were asked.

Pros: Good company to work for with great work-life balance,
Talented people.
Really flexible with timings (work-from-home option).
Can change jobs internally without much hassle.
Option to buy stocks via ESPP (but not included in offer).
And lastly, Cisco share is all-time high, trending positively.
Cons: If you are in a business unit that is generating less revenue, layoffs might come due to severe underperformance.
The hike cycle might get postponed, with less or no hikes.
No RSUs.
