Run! Run fast and run far
Software Engineer • Current Employee
San Jose, California, United States
October 12, 2014
Pros: Great name recognition for your resume. Decent benefits.
Cons: It's a popularity contest through and through. An employee is graded on how well he/she kisses up to management, not performance or productivity. A person can be the most productive and the most technical member of the group and still end up at the bottom 5% for frivolous reasons. Managers only care about trimming the workforce. Annual layoffs are detrimental to productivity. They will do everything possible to break and humiliate you on your way out.
