Cons: Too many contractors in the company. I believe that hiring quality people full-time can make things better.

Pros: Work-life balance. If you were not impacted by a layoff, Cisco would be a happy and healthy place to stay.
Cons: The management team does not know how to take care of the engineering department; therefore, they are not able to execute the strategy and business plan properly. As a result, everybody works hard, and the company goes downwards.
