Pros: High pay scale and top-shelf benefits.
Underperformers get moved out.
High performers get rewarded.
Encouraged to speak up, challenge ideas, innovate, and come up with solutions that produce results.
Cons: Constant pressure to overdeliver kills work-life balance. Many times, you are working extra hours on products or solutions that will never produce revenue.
We were looking over our shoulder every 2-4 years.
Company is extremely biased towards hiring younger engineers.
Diversity and inclusion only applies to employees and managers in the US.
