System Test Engineer / Quality Assurance Interview Experience - Bengaluru, India

Process

The total interview process took six weeks. It included three technical rounds:

  • The first two rounds lasted one hour each.
  • The third round ran for approximately two hours.

I received positive feedback from the technical lead, who indicated I was a good fit for the position. However, they delayed the decision, citing internal organizational changes and asking me to wait until early July 2021.

Ultimately, I was updated with the message, "UNFORTUNATELY, THE REQUIREMENT IS CLOSED."

I never anticipated this outcome after receiving positive feedback and being told I was a fit. The interviewers were even impressed with my technical knowledge of protocols.

I did not expect such a bizarre interview process and outcome from a big brand like Cisco. It was very disappointing.
