Engineers focused on the technical side, discussing various OSI layers.
Manager's questions were more behavioral, focusing on managing difficult situations and coming up with new ideas.

Scenario-based questions and troubleshooting problems.
I was given a scenario where traffic could not reach from one host to another host, which were connected via a series of switches and routers. I was asked to walk through how I would troubleshoot the given problem.
