Pros

Allows you to select Macs as your computer to use. Good bonuses and salary. Competitive benefits. Nice facilities to work in.

Cons

Upper management is destroying the company by having no clue where they are going or what business they are in. Cisco's future is unfortunately to become like HP, where engineering is nearly absent and the products are very sub-par.

Advice to Management

Get a clue on where you are headed. Decide that you need to invest in R&D and engineering if you wish to really compete and stop touting supply-chain management and cost controls as the way to take the company to the head of the pack. If you don't know what business you want to be in and what it takes to be the leader, then no amount of cost controls will help you get there.
