Cisco is a large company, allowing it to invest in smaller, innovative companies.
Cisco moved its headquarters to India over the past several years. This has dramatically changed the make-up of its workforce.
Most of its strategic vision is for global investment. This strategy comes at the cost of American resources and employment opportunities.
Globalization does not mean outsourcing. Reduction of headcount in the US will continue. Investment in countries like India and China may look good on the balance sheet, but we'll limit American creativity, which is the cornerstone of Cisco Systems.
