It is excellent if one gets hired as a full-time employee.
When it comes to contract positions at Cisco, the employee becomes disposable. They use you and then kick you out the door, regardless of thinking this employee had been making a living out of his job. Cisco employees treat their contract employees with less respect, at least in my group.
Contract employees have a right to meet direct management. Don't treat them as outsiders, as they are working with you.
