Pros

Telecommuting/working from home. Some great people are still left.

It's a good place to learn the technology if you're just getting into the industry and you play your cards right.

Cons

Politics rules rather than technical innovation. In some specific cases, management covers up what should be firing offenses against "favorite sons" among the management team. Most managers are focused on building their empire, rather than building the company. Senior management doesn't understand the product they are actually building and selling, and doesn't know, within the company, who actually does.

Advice to Management

Stop surrounding yourself with "yes men."
