A good place to start with the selected project
Dynamic environment.
Lot of opportunity across the company, which can be tried out without informing your manager. Complete freedom to work.
Technical challenge with good reward (money).
Compensation is good when entering the company.
The company has less faith in the Video division. Many layoffs have happened in the past. Eligible technical people from the Video division are having a tough time entering other divisions of Cisco Systems. Year-on-year salary increments are not that great.
No advice to management. I think they are trying their best to keep Cisco on top of the list.
One request would be to match the salary to industry standards to keep positive motivation across divisions.
