Politics forms a bad work culture and makes the company hollow from the inside.
Good and genuine people hired at Cisco tend to leave the company due to politics.
I agree politics is everywhere, but then that is what is spoiling Cisco's work culture. Only the politically inclined people remain at Cisco and climb the ladder faster.
Genuine people leave the company.
Cisco does have its plus points in terms of benefits, career advancement, and learning opportunities.
