Work is good if you are in a good team, or mostly it's maintenance. Cisco Bangalore is not a research center.
Management is not transparent. There's a lot of politics. If you are not in good books of your manager, then hope to see your name on the layoff list next year for sure. Be a slave to your manager and you will get by. Cisco is not the place it used to be. Layoffs at year-end have become a tradition now, so beware of Cisco if you are looking for a stable job. You will find yourself on your toes always, and there will always be a sword hanging over your head.
Be more transparent. Engineers are not your slaves; you cannot treat them like your servants.
